Currently we are directing our efforts on the people returning back home having lost everything. Once the immediate rescue operations ended, we have been focusing on a process of long-term accompaniment in order to reinstate and rebuild lives. As part of this process we formed an initiative called ‘Koodeyundu Njangalum’ which means ‘We Are Also With You', where we will be supporting needy families with Rs. 3000/- per month for 12 months from September 2018 to August 2019 through family to family support. We are identifying the people who need regular monthly financial assistance for a year based on their income, damage and loss due to these calamities, lack of any possibility of a job or income generating endeavor, sick/aged people at home, etc. Our volunteers will be making quarterly visits to these families to provide emotional and other assistance required to rebuild their lives. The name and details of the families of the benefactor and beneficiaries will be shared for better transparency. With hope we request your continued support towards these initiatives undertaken.
